Students who reside within the Osseo Senior High and Maple Grove Senior High boundaries are eligible for free busing to St. Vincent de Paul School.
Students who do not reside within the Osseo Senior High or Maple Grove Senior High boundaries may opt to pay for bus service through Northstar Bus Lines, if they live within the Northstar service area.
The Northstar transportation fees for 2025-26 are:
One-way Service: $1,000.00 per rider, annually
Two-way Service: $2,000.00 per rider, annually
Transportation costs have, once again, increased dramatically. St. Vincent de Paul School subsidizes over half the cost of transportation to support families who choose to use this private bus service. In order to continue providing this service we've had to increase the fees to our families. The estimated fee is based upon a similar number of families riding the bus this coming school year as we have had in the past. This price may change slightly depending upon the number of families that sign up to ride. The higher the number of riders reduces the cost per rider. (Ask about price breaks for 3 or more students in one family.)
Expressing interest in Northstar does not obligate your student to ride.
Note: Students who do not reside within the OSH or MGSH boundaries, may qualify for a transportation reimbursement from their home school district. For families that live within the Northstar service area and choose to participate in the Northstar service, their transportation reimbursements are retained by St. Vincent de Paul School. Since these reimbursements are intended to aid the cost of a family’s transportation to their preferred school, these retained reimbursements are applied to transportation costs not covered by the above fees. Conversely, those families who choose not to participate in the Northstar service have their transportation reimbursements automatically credited to their following school year's tuition account.
