Fine Arts

St. Vincent de Paul Music Teacher, Allison Kroehler, leads our Drama Club for students in grades 4-8. Each November, our Drama Club performs its feature performance at Totino-Grace High School. For each production, SVDP partners with Totino-Grace High School through its Fine Arts Academy. As part of this collaboration, Totino-Grace provides access to their auditorium for tech week and final performances, contributes technical elements for the production, and hires theatre professionals to facilitate the program. 2024 Drama Club performance of Finding Nemo, Jr.

Students in grades 3-8 are invited to join one of our choirs, led by our music teacher, Ms. Kroehler.

Beginning Choir
Grades 3 and 4
Students learn the fundamentals of ensemble singing during weekly practice sessions. Beginning Choir performs once a year in the Spring. These students also join older choir members at Mass starting in January.

Intermediate Choir
Grades 5-8
Students continue to build and develop ensemble singing skills during weekly practice sessions and while singing at weekly school Mass. Intermediate Choir performs once a year in the Spring.

Boys Choir
Grades 3-8
This 'boys-only' choir meets twice each month for practice. Boys Choir performs once a year in the Spring. Boys are strongly encouraged to also participate in either Beginning or Intermediate Choir.

St. Vincent de Paul School offers Band and Orchestra in partnership with the Totino-Grace Fine Arts Academy.

Grades 4-8
Band Director, Mrs. Jessica Haut, leads students in grades 4-8 in weekly lessons throughout the school year. Band students perform in twice yearly concerts in December and May.

Orchestra
Grades 3-8
Orchestra Director, Mr. Zachary Saathoff, leads students in grades 3-8 in weekly lessons during the school year. Orchestra students perform in twice yearly concerts in December in May.
